Make a genealogy in minutes
Four steps with the Start a genealogy wizard: an account, the surname and village, the founding ancestor, then the access code and invitation for the family chat.
The whole family helps
Post the access code and invitation in the family chat; relatives add and correct with the code, by default nothing applies until you approve it, and a mistaken approval can be undone.
Adding and correcting people
Add children and spouses, propose corrections, put right a father or an adoption, write a biography - and see when a change takes effect.
Finding a genealogy and the people in it
Choose a genealogy on the home page, find your village by name or surname under Villages, and look people up by name, courtesy name or art name.
Reading a genealogy
How to read a genealogy's front page, chart, person pages, scanned book, statistics and relationships, and what needs review, unverified and the errata mean.
Downloading and sharing
Make a printable PDF of the genealogy, draw a line as one long picture, and share pages with relatives.
Running a genealogy
Review what is waiting, set the edit policy, write the introduction, generation characters and the line above the founder, manage relatives and administrators, and undo or roll back.
