步溪村位于广东省江门市台山市水步镇中部，是镇里的一个行政村，紧邻镇中心水步圩，辖20条自然村，分为13个村民小组。据镇政府2026年公布的资料，全村609户、2103人。 村民世居许、林两姓。清代武进士许济柏和抗日烈士许鸿羡都是步溪人。

清末修建的新宁铁路在步溪设有水步站，车站旧址后来成为步溪市场。 由于靠近圩镇，村民经商的较多，20世纪90年代曾获「台山市经济发展排头兵」和「广东省乡镇企业百强村」等称号。
