淡村是广东省江门市台山市台城街道西部的行政村（村委会名称为淡村村委会），办公地点在水西文化楼。村子西面和北面都与白沙镇的冲云村交界，东面是圆山村委会（即元山村），南面是岭背村。

全村面积4.08平方千米，下辖20个村民小组；2025年12月户籍人口1928人，合575户。 村里以农业为主，传统特产是「淡村毛笔」，制笔盛行的年代，长盛村差不多每户都做毛笔。
