小担村是广东省台山市汶村镇下辖的行政村，在镇政府所在的鱼地圩以西，东邻沙奇村，西接大担村，南面与茭一村相连，北面群山环抱，有小担水库。村委会设在小担村，离鱼地圩约3千米，离台城约88千米。百度百科记载全村户籍人口4446人，耕地3105亩。

村中的冲源村是革命老区村，解放战争时期是游击队的交通联络点，1950年又有23名船工协助解放军准备渡海解放海南岛。
